Back in th early 1900 my grandfather operated a milk skimming station and shipped cream to Chicago from NE Iowa. He showed me the old spring that he used to keep the milk and cream cool.
This a picture of his farm house taken in 1913. Uncle, Father, Grandmother & Grandfather pictured. Grandfather came and got me to watched a large Calavery movement from the porch in about 1940. It was quite a sight for a nine year old boy.
