A 16.9 or 18.4x26 may well stand as tall as a 14.9x28. I would have to dig out my tire book to know the figures, then tire brand would make a difference too. Overkill? Maybe. But the WD45 certainly didn't have any too much rubber/traction to begin with. I just bought one with 13.6x28. That MIGHT be ok on a WD, but I wasn't pleased. So the replacement rim/tires were 16.9x28. They stand a little taller than a 14.9, but not outrageously so. As far as never stuck!?..... maybe he's very careful,or lucky, or just not ventured out far enough ?
