I worked on the brakes on one of those little Yanmar Deeres once,but I don't think it was a 650. A little bit bigger I think,but that one just had band brakes on it. Take off the cover on the side and the bands are right there. The one I worked on had set in the water and they were froze up. Wheels wouldn't even turn. Just had to get the rusted bands broken loose and pull them out.
