We have some of that growing in low parts of our yard that fills up with water when the pond over flows. It gets shreaded when the grass gets cut. They cows will occasionally eat it, when they feel like walking through the muck to get to it. The neighborhoods had the bright idea of building up and stopping all of the water from going down hill. So now everyones water ends up at our place, and the county wont dig out the ditches because they had the bright idea of installing the phone wires in the ditch.
