Santa Claus, Indiana received 4+ inches of snow with a strong East wind that produced drifting that our infrastructure cannot accomodate. Having been raised near Buffalo, NY with my dad using a JD model M to plow the service station lot and having lived near Chicago, I was determined to get to town. I decided my VAC could do similar. I reversed the scraper blade and it worked perfectly, even without tire chains. The advantage of using a tractor to plow snow is that a spinning drive wheel can be controlled by the brakes, steering is also accomplished well with the brakes. Snow here is not fun, but clearing it with the VAC was nearly fun.
