PATU (Scandanavian) and Valby are two big names. I have a PATU DC-40 that will take a 4" stick, manual feed. I run it with my 20 horse JD. They make bigger chippers, you could probably run a 6" with 30 horse. I've never been able to load up my JD with my 4".

Manual feed works pretty good as long as the knives are sharp and set correctly. Hydraulic power feed adds a LOT to the price, but probably worth it if you chip a lot.
