If you have even tried to grass finish a steer it would be worth looking into.
Yes (just like here though it has gotten MUCH better the last 6 weeks) there are some nut jobs at Stockman's Grass Farmer who would have you belive that you should put 200+ head to the acre and move them 3 times a day to control weeds. But there are some good guys that write there too.
