We've had low-sulfur stuff for a while. My old diesel truck's not happy, I'm not happy. Starting is significantly harder, especially in cold weather. Fuel economy is noticably lower. It smokes something firece, especially when the engine is cold. You can't hardly stay in the garage long enough to drive it out! Wish I had something good to say about it. A suggestion which may help is to add a few ounces of DEXTRON to a tank of fuel occasionally. This will help lubricate the pump, and keep the seals working, as Dextron will cause them to swell slightly. I have been told that GM does not recomment any other additive for their diesel engines.
