Most log splitter valves are open center like your tractor. The gpm on the tractor will be around 4 gpm which will be slow for a log splitter. Your tractor will have to be revving fairly fast to get 4 gpm and you'll need to add a selector valve to get hyd's. for the splitter valve. It will work but won't be very efficient. A pto pump or an all in one log splitter might be a better option. Dave
