Ford 555B Backhoe 12-17-87 Axle leak at boots

This Ford 555B leaks the rear axle fluid out of both of the rubber boots where the brake actuating rods enter the axle. Is this a relatively easy fix and is there something else I need to be checking? I've ordered new manuals for this machine but it will be at least a week before they get here. I'm just trying to pick up some advice from you experienced wrench burners! :)
