I don't know what could happen to the finish on an AC or IH but I painted my JD 70 with TSCs "BPS" branded paint 5 years ago and let me tell you it faded to a bluish color. The tin was painted using a hardener I am assuming ( I sent the hood and nose to a professional) because they still look ok. Now I always use "factory" branded paint. I reccommend IH people go to CNH and I reccommend you go to AGCO and get real AC "Persian" orange. Bad paint = ruined effort.
Buy quality decals too, the cheapies aren't always completely accurate.
