A possible historical note on German speaking Indians/native americans: Supposedly(?) Sitting Bull didn"t learn English - didn"t want to learn enemy language- but when touring with Wild West show later in life was stranded in Germany with other performers when show company went bust, quickly learned enough German to get along with locals. A old minor trivia question perhaps?. RN.
