I'll throw my 2 cents in too. First off, I don't load my tires because my father did, it's how the tractors came, so it didn't cost me anything, and those are bias tires. The only bounce I get is from travelling at high gear with the calcium sloshing around. And, for the record, I've never lost a rim to rust from calcium. That would be a maintenance issue.
The trend here for the past few years is to swap the bias tires for radials that are not loaded, and the results are good. Equal traction, with reduced compaction, which is ideal for vineyard work, as the tires travel close to the root zone. The only people I know that are loading radial tires are the ones who 1. can't envision the fact that unloaded radials work , 2. have a 2wd loader tractor, 3. use the tractor for pulling a mini-tiler, and need crawler-type traction.
As it becomes time to change, I'm switching to unloaded radials, I've seen the results, and am very impressed.
