Hi John, I can give you a couple of things to watch for. Maintenance free, low gassing, and jell type batteries are not as tolerant of deep cycling and overcharging as "regular" batteries. For two batteries of the same size, the higher output one MAY have thinner plates, which means more likely to be damaged by overcharging and vibration. Good luck...Al English
