i used to work at a farm that had corn, peas, strrawbeeries..etc ..ett It was in a low area right next to the river.....a great place for pesky critters. They had these sorta cannons that worked off a 20# propane tank.They would touch off every so often, and quite loudly at that. Some set on the ground and others would swivle in the breeze on top a tripod. I aint sure how the worked, but when they went off at least 3 or 4 people would toss a whole flat of berries in the air.....and need clean shorts. Bein a kid and not knowin any better we used to put a ear of corn in them. u never knew when it was gonna launch, or where with the swivle ones, but it would launch an ear of corn a good distance.
