I completed my conversion back in January (2001) and cranked her (1964 Ford 4000) a couple of times, and put her in the barn. Went out there to get her last Saturday and she fired right up! My experience was great! The only thing with 1 wire 10si's is that you have to rev her up to get the alternator started charging. I can tell by my voltmeter I installed (throw that ammeter away!). After I give her a rev, the needle will jump up to 14 volts, and STAY there, no matter how slow the engine idles after that. I have heard a smaller pulley on the alternator will help the alternator begin charging at a lower engine RPM, but I am fine with mine the way it is. Since I put a voltmeter on her, I left the "idiot light" off. So far, I am very pleased with my conversion. I submitted the details of my experience here for an article, but it hasn't been put on the site yet. I'll e-mail it to you privately. Tommy D. PS - I have no interest in Genesee Products, but I would definitely get the parts and advice from them. I looked around a lot, and I couldn't find anyone, anywhere who had the parts and knowledge they have! Wellll - The parts anyway. Al Engilsh and Tony Jacobs definitely have a PhD in this area!

The garden was already sprouting when we hooked up the mid-mount shovel cultivators to the Pony. The seed bed was soft enough that the rear end would spin and slowly work its way to the downhill side of the gardens slight incline. From this, we learned our lesson sinc
