I watched the show, and didn't think they were too bad in their dealings with the folks. Not a lot of arm twisting. The old guys were probably getting to the point where they knew there wasn't much point in keeping this junk any longer, and that their kids would appreciate any reduction in the volume of clean up needed after the funeral.
I did notice that once the ice was broken, and the seller actually consented to part with something, he seemed more willing to sell most everything they asked about. Sometimes price was too much, and they passed, as it should be. Or tried to negotiate a little, which I didn't consider out of line.
