If you use kerosene, remember that not all of it burns up like gasoline and some of it will end up in the oil. After a while it thins the oil so you have to replace it more often. The old operators manuals specified how often you have to change the oil if you use kerosene. Back in those days oil was cheap as well as kerosene. Best to use gasoline.
