In the state I live in I wondered why there weren't insurance choices and if they were bargaining for state employee/teacher costs why couldn't they get better rates. Some of the school employees paycheck goes to health insurance and they live off the other paycheck. So this kind of system come about with not being able to buy insurance across state lines. There are a lot of things that i think should be taken from the states. Health insurance, car insurance, drivers license, others, should have a federal minimum and then the states could add cost plus benefits on top of them, not more costs. Take car insurance, across the country liability requirements at a fixed cost, then you add full or different vehicles/items to it at your cost. If some company puts billions a year off of something even non-profit without delivering service, somethings wrong.
