Nancy is right. You should check with your insurance company to see if you have roadside assistance coverage. My auto insurance has that coverage and I have used it 2 or 3 times. As Nancy stated, the insurance company can locate a towing or roadside service company near your location, but will usually only pay for towing to the nearest repair facility. This varies from one insurance carrier to another. Mine will pay towing up to 25 miles. Since I do my own repair work, I had the towing company tow my car to my home each time and paid the incurance did not. Best thing is to ask your agent and find out what your coverage actually is.
