JD70Jim covered this issue pretty well, in my opinion. Pure investment means one thing but to show/use means another. If the lattter category is what you are after, you can't go wrong with either one, although I would probably favor the JDB as a touch more versatile because of its hydraulics. I owned a 49 B that I used for about 15 years and should never have gotten rid of. I now have a JD70, Farmall Super H and Super M and love'em all. Wahtever you do, enjoy it.
