1927 McCormick Deering 15-30. Bought it at an auction in 1999 for $600. Was missing the magneto, but the motor turned over and seemed to have good compression. Fuel tanks were rusted and radiator had a few cuts that looked like they were done with an ax. Put an E4 mag on it and set the timing, cleaned out the carb and rigged up a temporary gas tank, patched the radiator with JB Weld, and got it running nicely. Started it by running a belt, pulley to pulley, from a Farmall M. Lot easier than pull starting. Got a different radiator to put on sometime, but haven't worked on it for a few years. I'll have to get it out and drive around the yard this spring.
