Most, if not all of the combines in the boneyard will have open center systems. Your tractor has a closed system. The open center valves from a combine will work, but you will want to leave the tractor hyd lever in neutral until you want to raise/lower/fold the sprayer boom.
I'm assuming combine valves might not be all that expensive because of low demand. Just guessing......
I'm trying to run through my mind what to look for. The two way functions on a Case IH combine are fore-aft reel, auger swing, unload on and off, separator on and off. Header up and down is single acting and reel up and down is single acting also. Header on and off is sometimes a valve that's separate from the main cluster. Gleaners used a lot of electric clutches so I don't know if they would have enough two way valves. I'm not familiar enough with Deeres and Masseys, but to get enough valves for your application it's gonna have to be a fairly new machine.
