The letter you received should has stated what you need to do for the audit. I have been audited twice. Both times shortly after I started my own business. Once I just had to send in some copies of expense receipts and the other was basically the same but done at a local office. A third time I got a letter for a possible audit but they said if I had been audited within the last five years there would be no audit.
New businesses are one type of return that gets flagged for possible audit. If that is the reason for the audit they will probably only ask to look at a couple of areas.
If you were lucky enough to be randomly chosen for a complete audit then they will probably ask to look at everything.
