While I agree that Haiti is dirt poor, why is it the US that always rushes to the rescue, leads the way with aid while other nations send a token contingent?
How much help did other countries give when Katrina hit? Did anyone get any help from China when floods devastated the Midwest a few years back?
So, don't turn our backs but insist that others (like Japan, Korea, France, Germany, China, etc) pony up MAJOR dollars to help.
