Just swapped out my cam type hubs for manual ones on my KIA Sportage. Job should heve been real simple...... One side went in about 20 minutes but the other side took the rest of the day. Had to fight with all 6 bolts and ended up cutting one and a big chunk of the cap with an angle grinder.
Save yourselves a headache and ,using a good 6PT socket, take the bolts out and smear a little grease on the shank. At least, back them out a little and squirt some wd40 or comparable in between the bolt and the cap and tighten them again. Once a year should do it. Steel bolts and the aluminum cap along with moisture isn't a very good combo and can sieze up pretty quick.
