I live about 10 -12 miles northwest of Columbia. Pulaski is about 25 - 30 miles southeast of Columbia.
This whole area is a mix of steep hills and rolling hills. There is some flat land, but not much. There are a few big-time row croppers, but not many. Most farming is cow/calf operations. There are a few dairies left, but not many. Our local farmers Co-Op doesn't buy commodities from farmers so there is usually some pretty expensive trucking that is needed for grain production.
Pulaski is a nice area. Small-townish and rural.
