Trooper... That is good guidance that I will scratch my head over for awhile. I have a NH T1030 that I could spend $800 for a brush cutter at Tractor Supply .... but with those small tires my kidneys would suffer.
I've also been told to just hire it done twice per year.
OR .... I have a 60" mower deck for the SCUT that I won't be using for my lawns .......I could set it high and could just go whittle at the acreage come spring. I borrowed a Ford 5610 with a 7' Woods cutter this summer and cut the heck out of the fields.
Perhaps slowing down a tad is the appropriate action.
