rrlund, I can"t help him much but my book shows the 2440 had the same 219ci engine as the 2520 diesel if that helps in where it was made. Wasn"t one of those 40 series tractors offered in a shuttle shift? My book doesn"t show that, I loved that feature sure made manure loading go smoother if that"s possible.
