Pushing is much faster than blowing. I have 1 mile of drive to plow daily, before work. Would take half my day to blow the drives open ever day, when the plow truck will move at 20+mph. Just make sure you push the majority of snow downwind and your drifting will be much less. Been working for me for as long as I can remember and we get 300-400+ inches of snow yearly (over 150 inches so far this season).
