We never have near the snow here that you get in the midwest, but I remember from my youth on the dairy how much trouble the cold and snow caused- multiply it by 10 or so for you folks! I remember my dad teaching me how to use the "Bernz-o-Matic" propane torch to thaw out the pulsators on the old Surge milkers when I was about 6 years old- we had an unheated milking parlor, open to the wind, and when it got down in single digits, we had to keep at it to keep one milker of the two working. Guess I don't miss that. . .
