I'm not all that interested in political arguements, but I don't want to let those comments go by. My 6 year-old daughter is adopted from China. I have a great interest in quelling the type of paranoia that helped sustain a cold war for 5 decades at a great expense to the U.S. the former Soviet Union and the rest of the world (even though there were some who profited greatly). I think we have to remember that an enemy is someone who has attacked us, militarily, unprovoked; not the latest scapegoat drummed up by those who want to maintain their profits.
