A farm getting bigger in size does not bother me but if they got there in an unethical, illegal, immoral manner then it makes my blood boil. Some people are better at running a business and they should not be stopped from expanding to fulfill some (government, I presume) mandate (if implemented). I value the small farmer as much as anybody but am wary of having government say who can do what. USDA could do better in terms of helping small/beginning farmers in my opinion. I would be happy if everybody felt the need to operate in an honest manor. Hear of too many instances where somebody is suspected of operating in an shady manor (farmers included).
