At our local Threshing Bee they have a barrel race. A person driving a tractor has to push a barrel (using the front wheel) from the starting line to another line some distance away and then back to the finish line. We entered into the contest 2 years ago for the first time and won! My dad used a 1937 BN(narrow front), the front wheel being a forklift tire. Worked rather nicely.
