I was the dad that was not told for many years. When my boy fessed up, he was 40 yrs old, and it still peed me off, even though I hav not been an angel myself. I had a 2 yr old 76 Dodge Warlock, and while I was working evenings at Boeing, my 15 yr old son took the truck, and while riding his friend's around in it, he aparently ruined a chrome rim, and tire, went to a salvage yard, found a simular tire, and rim, and had it on and parked in the yard when I got home at midnight. At least that was what I was belatedly told. Hey Rabbit Hollow something, Your the first person, that I have heard of that have talked to catfish, on one of old Ma Bell's crankers. We called it Bugging, and it was highly frowned on by the Ill. dept of fish and game. Ill bet that I have thrown at least 5 of those old mag units overboard, while being pursued. They hit the water at high speed, then the warden couldn't be sure where to drag for it. They always could outrun me, so thats all I could do! No evidence!! Always got a good tounge lashing, and threatened though.
