Ya know, i was looking at one of these kind of modified diesel's up close when i was in Rollag Minnesota, It appreared as though all they consist of is a built semi engine (the one i seen was a cat and had a HUGE single turbo on it) a semi-transmission, coupled to an agricultural rear-end (The one i looked as appeared to be a john deere articulator rear end) all tied together with a custom built frame and front axle.
