Try a light squirt of WD-40, down each vertical slot. Won't hurt it-might help. When i worked in auto body shops, etc. we used that stuff a lot. I need to do that on my Buick, but it'll have to wait for warmer weather-don't need the windows down right now, at least not here in Pa.! Next summer, you can take the door panel off, if you know the tricks!
