Back in the 50s my Dad, Uncle and Grandpa farmed 500 acres with a Farmall M, Farmall H, Farmall C and an SC Case. I remember some of these tractors - you just rode them a lot longer than we do now (plow, disc once, disc twice, maybe disc a third time, plant, cultivate two to three times, harvest). No-till (which is no doubt a better way to farm) in a 150 HP air-conditioned tractor certainly is a different world.
