To keep it tractor related, there is a local guy who is very good at working on farm equipment. Lives with his parents who appearantly didn't teach him the value of saving money. He now wants to get married and can't get a loan to buy a mobile home or the land on which to put it because he dosen't have a credit history and parents aren't going to give him a lot to put the MH on.
Money management dosen't cause as many problems as personal relationships, but it's sure not insignificant.
Personal note. Finance and I were going to buy an engagement ring and the other rings and the jewelor, a personal friend, advised me to buy the ring on credit from him so I could have some credit history when time came to buy a house. Best financial advice I ever had, other than to save money.
