That engine is not really cheap to rebuild, but a car engine isn't much to work with in place of it either. Why hack the tractor up like that? 750 bucks for a rebuilt pump, guarnteed... is a GOOD deal for a Simms pump.
The more I read farmshow these days, the more I wonder about the practicality of most of the ideas in there. I think it would be more appropriately named 'FreakShow' at thsi point in time.
