I have read the paper all my life, my Wife has always read the paper, we grew up at a time when people read the paper. Our sons grew up watching us read the paper but the only time they looked at the paper was if a sports item or something else of local interset was supposed to be in the paper. On the other hand, I never watched the network news with anything even approaching regularity, I could not stand Cronkite or any of his peers, pretenders or cronies. That goes for all 3 networks.
