None of the tractor manufactorers own an oil refinery so I would select the least expensive oil fluid that has all of the right cross spec. numbers. The main thing to remember is not to mix brands and especially colors of oils (something awful happened my ps trans when the hired hand added Multitrac (my prefered brown) to the Chevron (my prefered red) that was in it. As a rule of thumb I run Chevron (red) oils in my Case powershifts (as it is similar in oil stock to to Hytran Ultra and the Coastal Multitrac in everthing else. In 300 gallon minibulk its running $3.00 per gallon, and the Chevron about 3.50/g in 55's. Don't want to risk a powershift, my last rebuild was $12,500 (more than the tractor is worth).
