My chev i had did the same thing,,it was the little slider bushing inside the calipewr,,it is located where the bolt goes through,,it there is a bushing in there that has to slide,,if it doesnt it can cause all kinds of problems.And also i agree with the lower ball joints being a possible,,as well as the rear springs,,if the ball joints flex to much it will throw the front end out of whack when you hit the brakes,,,but if it is the spring perches,,or the bolts through the mid of the spring,you should feel it move on acceleration as well...my suggestion is to check the calipers,,or take it to a different mechanic,,the one you used shouldnt have changed the parts if the were good....Jim
