What is a Browning Jeep? Are you talking about a Jeep CJ with a BAR mounted in it? If so the BAR was mounted in a number of different CJ's throughout the years. If it has an alternator, it is negative ground. If it has a generator, it can be either positive or negative by properly polarizing the generator and it is really up to you. Look in the Ford N Series board archives for the proper method of polarizing the generator. Many early CJ motors were Fords.
