F150 - I think that the 5425 is good on fuel, but I"ve never done a formal study... I still have the 2240 (I"m glad that I did not get rid of it, as nothing is a better 7ft bush hog tractor).
I agree that the "cheap imports" don"t quite measure up, but for most folks they"ll do just fine, at 2/3 the price. And Deere must agree, as they seem to be promoting their India-sourced utility tractors more these days.
