I put the used anti freeze in gallon jugs and let it set for several weeks. Any solids will settle to the bottom and the "clean" anti feeze remains on top. Then I carefully pour the clean anti freeze into another container leaving the sediment in the first jug. I can then use the anti freeze to top off over flow jugs and radiators for friends and neighbors. They get free anti freeze and I have very little waste to dispose of. The only draw back to this arrangment is the anti freeze I give them no longer has the anti rust/corrosion chemicals in it, but at least it won't freeze or boil over.
