Higher interest rates Skyrocketing inflation. Severe cutbacks on available credit lines. More severe government restrictions Much less work available.
So the reason I had a good year was that i fired SIX people and only kept one part time guy. I downsized and took care of myself only. I COULD have kept the other guys but with slim margins and a shittstorm on the horizon, I have to look out for me and my family first.
So I had a good year. But I know of six people that are really sucking air right now.
