The reason they went broke is that there are too many trucks chasing too little freight...consequently shippers have slashed rates. Trucking companies can either park iron against the fence or run at a loss and hope things pick up before they have drained all their equity. Not a pleasant choice either way. That being said, the management at Arrow would have had lots of forewarning that the end was near but chose to ride it to the bitter end and to heck with the drivers. Don't be surprised to read at later date, that top brass loaded their own pockets the past few months. Ask me how I know....I worked for a company that did that. Drivers need to protect themselve because the trustee/receiver certainly won't!!
