I finally found a good use for WD 40. My shop floor gets a lot of oil from drips under the tractors and stuff that I work on. The concrete was sealed with a clear sealer, but it is not resistant to gasoline or brake fluid.
So, what I do to clean up is sprinkle the Oil Dry granules on the oil to soak up the liquid. Then after sweeping that up, there is still a residue of oil which never seems to get clean.
I finally hit on spraying the spots with WD 40 and wiping up with a rag. The WD 40 evaporates in a couple of hours and the floor is good again. Does anyone else have a secret clean-up method that works better for them? Just trying to learn---
