Hi RS, One thing that was not mentioned is the sodium silicate will last for approx 400hrs then it will need to be treated again. I have used it on a diesel without draining the anti-freeze but it takes alot less and longer to seal. To much and it'll plug a system up and is a real PITA to get flushed out. It's best to start with clear water.

When ones buying any viechle you should look under the radiator cap for a white crystle or powder residue incating sodium silicate has been added.
